Advertised in Newcastle Courant, 29 March 1777 that he ‘…has just arrived from London, a neat & elegant assortment of carved burnished gold, and blue & white frames, which he fits up on terms as reasonable as in London. N.B. Old plates new polished, silvered, and framed in the best manner; and plate glasses of all sizes, wholesale & retail.’
