[D] Rosewood stool, c. 1840, recorded, with X-frame supports joined by a pole stretcher; the top upholstered with remnants of continental gros point woolwork; the underside bearing traces of the label of ‘Thomas Mills, Upholsterer & Paper Hanger, Market St., Bradford.’ [Sotheby's, 22 July 1983, lot 31]
