Trading at 3 Windsor Terrace as Thomas & Co. in 1839. Son Charles by his wife Maria baptised at Westminster Methodist Chapel on 20 March 1836. Possibly the Thomas Middleton, cabinet maker and upholsterer, listed in the London Post Office Directory 1845 at 21 Elizabeth Street, Eaton Square.
