Mason, John
Lancaster, Lancashire.; joiner and cabinet maker (fl.1831-39)
The son of William, stonemason of Lancaster, he became a freeman in 1831-1832.
He was listed in the Gillow’s Petty Ledger for 1834-39.
He made a similar table to one made for Thomas Brockholes Esq. in December 1839; it was carved by Robert Farmer.
On 14 May 1835 he was named with twenty-four other workmen on the payroll when he earned £1 4s 4d.
John Mason, cabinet maker, bound Edmund Simpson as his apprentice in 1832.
