Cowes, Isle of Wight, Hampshire; cabinet maker, upholsterer (fl.1830–88)

Recorded as a cabinet maker in the Lord Chamberlain’s accounts 1851-57 at Point, Cowes. Marvin held a royal warrant as a cabinet maker and upholsterer from the Lord Chamberlain [The Furniture Gazette, 14 February 1885 & 1 March 1888].
