Lovegrove, Henry

Upton, Buckinghamshire; chair maker (b. 1755- fl. 1798)

He is recorded as chair maker in the Posse Comitatus of 1798. Eldest son of Henry Lovegrove and Mary Woolman, he was baptised in Eton in 1755, and married Sarah Piner in Burnham, Bucks, on 19 September 1778. They had eleven children between 1779 and 1797, all of whom were baptised at Upton, including Henry, born in 1779.
