Lefeverer; Lefever; Lefevre

In 1901 there was a legal dispute between the firms of Oetzmann and Lefeverer over the matter of copying of images from a catalogue. The name ‘Lefeverer’ may be misspelled. In 1886 Alex Lefever & Co. was recorded at 227, 229 & 231 Old Street, City Road and George Lefevre at 93 & 99 Curtain Road, London. The above information about the legal dispute may be incorrectly attributed to Lefeverer as there is no Lefeverer in the 1901 London directories.
