London; cabinet maker and upholsterer (1809–45)

At 66 Gt Titchfield St, Cavendish Sq. in 1809, 102 Gt Portland St, 1812–39 and listed as upholsterer at 102 Great Portland Street in the London Post Office Directory 1845. A telescopic-action mahogany dining table bears a stencilled inscription ‘S. Law. 102 Great Portland Street’ (iIlus. Gilbert (1996), figs 564-565).
