Kitching, Mordecai J.

Hull, Yorkshire; cabinet maker, upholder, undertaker and paper hanger (fl. 1826–39)

At Blanket Row, 1826 and 1834, but in 1831 shown at 13 Queen Street.

By 1838 at 21 Bridge Street and in the next year at Humber Dock Walls. A trade card giving the 6 Blanket Row address is engraved with chair and day bed within a frame of elaborate swagged curtains and columns (illus., FHS Newsletter (Feb. 2003), p. 5).
