A mid 18th-century trade card [Leverhulme Collection, Metropolitan Museum, NY] states that she sold ‘Upholders Goods, Feather Beds, Blankets and Quilts, Chairs, Tables, Glasses &c’ and also undertook the appraising of goods and the conduct of funerals.
