King, William

London; cabinet, chair and sofa maker (fl.1820–1839)

Recorded at 25 Holywell Row, Chapel Street, Shoreditch, 1820–26.

On 4 December 1820 he took out insurance cover of £800. Of this £300 was for his dwelling house and manufactory, £300 for the house adjoining and £100 for utensils, stock and goods in trust.

In 1839 he was located at 1 New North Street, Finsbury, where he declared his trade to be chair and sofa maker.
