His premises were recorded near the Pantheon. 

In 1821 he stated he made ‘card, dining and sofa tables on the most improved principles’ and ‘also ladies work tables, dressing cases, desks, tea chests’. 

A billhead, dated 1817, for Sam. Keene, carpet and cabinet manufacturer, bedding and upholstery warehouse, at 356 Oxford Street, for two linen horses/airers, is included in the Graham Gadd Archive (NMS) and illustrated above.
