A designer employed by Frederick Crace at the Royal Pavilion, Brighton, 1817–23. Undertook a wide range of design work including furniture. A set of nine light chairs with stuffed seats and backs, the frames carved and gilt, were supplied for the Prince Regent to Jones’ design at a cost of £697. [Musgrave, Royal Pavilion, 1951, p. 89; C.
