Johns, J. (1912)
Johns, J.
London?; furniture maker (fl.1912)
Maker of a book and print case in Australian black bean, designed by Ambrose Heal, which was exhibited at the 1912 Arts & Crafts Exhibition. The original was probably made for Ambrose Heal’s home at Pinner and replicas were available at the Exhibition for £35. Possibly related to W. Johns, who produced other pieces for Heal’s.
