Jeanes, Charles

Bristol & London; cabinet maker, upholsterer and appraiser (fl.1813-51)

Charles Jeanes was born in Long Sutton, Somerset c.1789 and was recorded as a cabinet maker in West Street, Bristol (1813).

By 1820 he was in London at 109 Bermondsey Street and at 4 George Row, Bermondsey in 1839.

Census records list him still in Bermondsey in 1841 and in Rotherhithe in 1851, both occasions as a cabinet maker.  He died in 1854.
