In 1820 shown at 37 Wardour St. By this date S. Jamar was at 37 Gerard St and it is possible that this entry may be a directory error. It suggests a close relationship between the two makers. A writing table stamped on the edges of the drawers with this maker's name was sold at Sotheby's, 26 October 1962, lot 168. [D]
