London; cabinet maker, upholsterer, undertaker, appraiser, chair and sofa maker (fl.1835–1877)

Recorded 1835-1839 at 124 High Holborn and listed at the same address in the Post Office Directory 1845 as upholsterers, cabinet makers, chair & sofa makers, appraisers and undertakers.

The Post Office Directory (1871) recorded Edmund Ives & Son at 56 & 58 Wigmore Street, as upholsterers. 

Ives & Sons, cabinet makers, were listed at 56, 58 & 60 Wigmore Street, in The Furniture Gazette Directory (1876) and the firm advertised for a cabinet apprentice (outdoor) at a branch factory [The Furniture Gazette, 22 December 1877].
