The firm’s ‘originality of designs and skill shown in manipulation’ led to the firm’s success. In March 1893 it held an exhibition at the Manchester Hotel, London in March of the year and this led to the opening of London showrooms [Cabinet Maker & Art Furnisher, March 1893].
