Faulkner’s Dublin Journal, 22-26 July 1740: ‘To be sold by Auction on 2nd of August, at the late dwelling house of Mr. Charles Hunter deceased, in Cole-alley in Castle-street, all the working tools and implements belonging to the business of Turner, consisting of an oval engine, also two collars and mandrels ready fixed in their lays, all in very good order, with several other particulars belonging to the business too tedious to mention’.
