Dublin, Ireland; upholsterer and auctioneer (fl.1730-d.1746)
Made Freeman of the City of Dublin as an Upholder by Service, Easter 1711. In 1732, 1741 and 1744 he was elected onto the Dublin Common Council for the Upholders’ Guild.
Recorded at the sign of the Three Pillows in Capel Street, 1730-43; at the sign of the Chair in Stafford Street, near College Green, 1744-6.

In 1734 he supplied goods to Richard Edgeworth of Edgeworthstown [National Library of Ireland]. ‘A rich state bed curiously wrought in tent stitch, with silver and mohair, to be raffled at Thomas Hunt’s, Upholsterer, in Stafford-street where it may be seen at any time by gentlemen and ladies, to be raffled for by 20 for 5 guineas each’.
