Hughes James

Aberystwyth, Cardiganshire, Wales; upholsterer (fl.1846)

A lithograph of 1846 showing the interior of Penryhn Castle depicted a set of Gothic chairs bearing the label of James Hughes, upholsterer, of Aberystwyth. He had apparently previously worked for S J Waring of Manchester.
