How, Samuel, Chelmsford, Essex, upholder (1707–34). Son of Philip How, milliner of Chelmsford; app. to Arthur Osborne on 2 September 1707, and admitted freeman of the Upholders’ Co. by servitude on 4 March 1723/24.
