Hollingsworth, Thomas snr & jnr

Hull & Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire; carver and gilder (fl.1837–91)

Trading at 15 Robinson Row, Hull as a ship and general carver (1842) and as an ornamental carver (1846).

This was probably the carver, Thomas Hollingsworth, recorded as aged 35, living in Kingston upon Hull in the 1841 Census.

The 1851 census also lists his son, Thomas jnr, aged 17 as a carver & gilder apprentice. 

Thomas snr died in 1866 and Thomas jnr continued to be recorded in census records as a wood carver or carver in Kingston upon Hull until 1891.
