Helme, William

Lancaster, Preston and Blackburn, Lancs.; cabinet maker (1783–1801).

Admitted freeman of Lancaster, 1783–84, when stated ‘of Preston’. In April 1784 in the Parliamentary election, however, he was stated to be ‘of Blackburn’. Named in the Gillow records, 1799–1801.
