Made Freeman of the City of Dublin as an Upholder by Service, Michaelmas 1765. Recorded at Great Booter Lane, 1765-8; Great George's Street, 1769-86.

Charles Hearn went bankrupt in 1772 with his stock in trade and the lease of his house being auctioned off by William McCeady, senior, advertised in Faulkner’s Dublin Journal, 21-24 November 1772.
