Lancaster, Lancs.; knife box maker (fl.1766-69)
He made four knife boxes for Gillows. They were recorded on 13 June 1766, and described as ‘badly made’. In 1769 Head bought wood from Gillow’s including Danzig oak, and two boards of American oak. For details of his work see the Gillow’s Petty Ledger for 1766-69.
