Trading at Common Hall Lane in 1784. The son of Edward Hawkins, upholsterer; admitted freeman on 15 December 1767.

Bound apprentices named Henry Hawkins (1785) and Charles Boulton (1789) [Chester freemen rolls, poll books and apprentice books].
