12 Clerkenwell Close, London; mahogany merchant, cabinet and looking-glass manufacturer, toyman and upholsterer (1808–09)

In association with Thomas Gisborne Molineux and Francis Molineux, Hawkins purchased Sun Insurance policies for a warehouse, stock, utensils and looking-glass plates on 7 April 1808 for £3,000; and on 25 May 1809 for £3,500.
