A.& F. Halliday were listed in the Lord Chamberlain’s accounts in 1880. 

A. Halliday, possibly a relative, was recorded as an apprentice and was awarded a first prize and silver medal for a carved oak chair back at the Exhibition of Works in Wood at Carpenters’ Hall, London, illus. [The Furniture Gazette, 15 June 1892].
