Grimstead, Joseph

Grimstead was employed at Boughton, Northamptonshire, 1707–08.

At the time of the death in 1709, Ralph Montagu, 1st Duke of Montagu owed Grimstead £27 6s. This was settled in 1712. In September 1708 supplied eighteen walnut chairs at a cost of £9 6s to the 2nd Duke of Bedford [V&A archives; Bedford Record Office, London].
