Griffith(s), John, 7 Lant St, Southwark, London, cm, u and undertaker (1809–39). From 1816 listed as John & William Griffith. The business was probably of a substantial size for in August 1809 out of a total insurance cover of £1,400 no less than £1,200 was for utensils and stock.
