Graves, Joseph
Dublin, Ireland; upholder, auctioneer and timber merchant (fl.1750-86)
Son of Thomas Graves, made Freeman of the City of Dublin as an Upholder by Birth, Michaelmas 1736. Recorded at 82 Marlborough Street, 1750-86, and in partnership with his son Michael Graves, 1779-84. In 1756 he was elected onto the Dublin Common Council for the Upholders' Guild.
