The Grant Brothers office at 87 Callea Victoriei, Bucharest was awarded a contract to supply parquet flooring and furnishings for the New Palace of the King of Romania in Bucharest. They also introduced the mess system to the Romanian regiments and supplied plate and china to them. They were reportedly the leading furnishing company in Romania and introduced English styles [The Furniture Gazette, 14 July 1883].
