Broad Street, parish of St Benedict, London; upholsterer (fl. 1719–28)
The son of the Gentleman, John Goodchild of Combes, Suffolk, apprenticed to Samuel Conder on 13 October 1719 and made free of the Upholders’ Company by servitude, 4 January 1726/27.
On 3 June 1728 he purchased insurance cover of £500 on his household goods and dwelling [The London Archives (TLA), Upholders’ Company. records; Sun MS vol. 26, p. 214].
