A letter (above) dated 1921 for Globe-Wernicke Furniture Co. Ltd, at 82 Victoria Street, also 44 Holborn Viaduct and 98 Bishopsgate, London and 13 Victoria Street, Manchester, is included in the Graham Gadd Archive (NMS). 

Further research shows that the business was established in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA in 1893, and The Globe-Wernicke Co Ltd was an American furniture company established in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. The company was founded in 1893, originally making military equipment, and by 1900 producing office and library furniture and it opened factories etc. in England, France, Germany and Canada. One of its specialities was modular bookcases.
