Friend, George II
London; upholder (fl. 1732–d. 1784)
The son of the upholder, George Friend of London and the brother of Caril Friend.
He was apprenticed to his father on 31 January 1732/33 and admitted freeman of the Upholders’ Company by servitude on 16 December 1741.
Named as a Master of the Upholders' Company in 1769 [Guildhall Library, Upholders’ Company records].
Recorded in Clerkenwell, 1778–81.
