Flashman, George

Dover, Kent; cabinet maker and upholsterer (fl.1832–1888)

Flashman was trading at Last Lane (1832–34) as George & Co. at the same address (1838); and at 8 Market Place and Castle Street in 1839. 

George Flashman, either the father (born c.1805) or his son who was also George (b.1831), was listed at Market Square & Union Hall, St Mary’s, Dover in The Furniture Gazette Directory, 1877. 

Flashman was recorded as holding a Royal Warrant from the Lord Chamberlain in 1885 & 1888 [The Furniture Gazette, 14 February 1885 & 1 March 1888].
