Listed in The Furniture Gazette Directory, 1877. An article in The Furniture Gazette, 1 December 1885, described the process of manufacturing metal bedsteads with every labour-saving device.
They had markets in the United Kingdom, Australia and the colonies, and opened London offices and showrooms at 5 White Street, Moorfields. They appointed Mr James Slack, 63 Bishopsgate-Street Within, as its London agent in 1882 [The Furniture Gazette, 20 May 1882]. An advertisement in The Furniture Gazette, 1 January 1886, illustrated one of their metal bedsteads. In 1888 F. Wood at Dashwood House, London, became their sole export agent based in London [The Furniture Gazette, 1 January 1888].
