Evans, William

London; upholder and carpet warehouseman (1769–1786)

Recorded at Talbot Court, Gracechurch Street (1769–82); no. 3 (1770–82); and Edmonton (1786).

Admitted freeman of the Upholders’ Company by redemption on 5 July 1769.

In 1775 he employed a non-freeman for five months.

In 1780 he insured a house at 31 Queen's Row, Walworth, for £200.
