Thomas Edwards recorded as cabinet maker, upholsterer, appraiser and auctioneer (1818-39). He was trading at no. 56 Ironmarket, 1836-39 and as Thomas Edwards & Sons in 1839.

The Graham Gadd Archive (NMS) includes two bills for Thomas Edwards & Sons. The first, dated 1854, is for a hair mattress, cost £4 1s 6d. Also a bill dated 1894 (above) to J. Love for furniture including a walnut bedroom suite made to order, price £23 10s, brown oak side board, price £21, and settee and easy chair in saddlebags, price £13.
