Dunn, John (1710-1721)

Dunn, John

Market Square, Bromley, Kent; upholsterer (fl. 1710–21)

In 1710 he founded the firm which spanned the 18th and 19th centuries and was only recently taken over by Heal. The business seems to have been continued in John's name by William, his son (1721–74), since a bill of January 1774 to the parish of Hayes for a bed and bedding is signed John Dunn [Bromley Local Library; Dunn family archives].

See Edward, George, Sarah and William Dunn.

It is not known whether or not he was a relative of the following John Dunn of Bromley.
