Dingle, Daniel, Exeter, Devon, cm (1826–40). Trading in Cowick St, 1831–34; 3 Bridge St, 1833; and New Bridge St, 1836–40. Son William bapt. at St Thomas's Church on 16 July 1826. Advertised in Exeter Flying Post, 12 December 1833, ‘A Rising Library Table Desk … The pigeon holes are raised by means of machinery, and when lowered form a most secure deposit for cash or important documents’.
