Nottingham, Nottinghamshire; chair maker, cabinet maker (fl.1773-91)

Signed the Nottingham Cabinet and Chair Makers’ Book of Prices, 1791, on behalf of the Masters.  

Possibly the recorded maker of a mahogany ‘cockfighting’ chair dated 1773, with original ink bottles, spurs, leather castors and covered in russet leather [Antiques, December 1965, p. 750].
