Daws, Edward (1822-1885)

Daws, Edward

London; cabinet maker (fl.1822-85)

Daws insured his house at 44 King Street, Soho, for £800 on 10 October 1822 with Sun Insurance [Guildhall Library, Sun MS vol. 493, ref. 995783].

Probably the same Edward Daws recorded as a writing desk and dressing case maker at 59 Quadrant, Regent Street, London (1829).

Possibly his son or another of the same name, was recorded as a cabinet maker, at 10 Clerkenwell Green, in London Post Office Directory, 1885.
