Davis, Robert, 18 Southampton Row, Russell Sq., Bloomsbury, London, painter, glazier, dealer in writing desks, work boxes, cutlery and toys (1820–23). Trading as Davis & Horwood, ladies’ work box makers, in 1820. Took out a Sun Insurance policy alone on 25 April 1823 for £800 of which utensils and stock accounted for £400.
