Davies, Thomas (1810-1830)

Davies, Thomas

Carmarthen, Wales; cabinet maker (fl. 1810-30)

This man’s signature has been found on several pieces of furniture made at the workshop of David Morley in the early 19th century. These include a chest of drawers (1810) and three sideboards (1818, 1820, 1821). He was probably the same man who was recorded in Pigot’s Directory trading on his own account in Lammas Street, 1830.
