David, John

Conwy, Wales; sawyer or timber merchant (fl.c.1685)

In the 1680s John David was paid £1 8s. by the Gwydir estate for ‘makeing and floating 4 floats of sawed timber’ to the timber yard and further 1s. 4d. for collecting after the tide had dislodged them.
