Danson (1762)
Danson, -
Lancaster, Lancs.; cabinet maker (fl.1762)
Mr. Danson was listed amongst Gillow’s journeymen paid on 22 May 1762 with another ten men including William Forrest. In July 1762 he was ‘paid in full £2 1s 6d’, listed amongst another seven men. He made fire screens for Gillows. He was probably the Mr. Danson who was working in London again in November 1762 when Richard Gillow wrote to his cousin James ‘My service to Mr. Danson’. Possibly Myles Danson recorded at Golden Square, London, in 1774.
