Dalziel(l) (or Dalzeel), William F (1803-39)

Dalziel(l) (or Dalzeel), William F., Bedford Row, London, cm and u (1803–39). Trading at 4 Chapel St, 1803–11; 24 Gt James St, 1814–39, and also no. 23, 1820–21. Took out Sun Insurance policies on 12 June 1820 and 24 September 1821 for £2,200, of which two houses with warehouses, workshops and counting houses accounted for £520; pictures and prints, £25; and stock, utensils and goods in trust, £1,235. Named in Sheraton's list of master cabinet makers, 1803. The majority of designs in J. C. Loudon's Encyclopaedia of Cottage, Farm & Villa Architecture & Furniture, 1833, were supplied by Dalziel.
