On 3 April 1786 took out insurance cover of £200 of which £50 was for utensils etc. Executor of the will of James Reid, cm, proved 6 March 1800. Not recorded in trade directories until 1808. On 18 April 1809 took out insurance cover on a house at 14 Gloster Pl., Camden Town for £200 with a further £200 for household goods. The house was said to be in ‘his own tennure’.
